About the event
Leaving military service does not always mean leaving the stress, responsibility, or experiences of service behind. Veterans may face challenges with identity, relationships, sleep, isolation, anger, grief, purpose, adjustment to civilian life, and feeling misunderstood by people who have not shared similar experiences.
Veterans Support & Connection is a welcoming group for veterans who want a place to talk openly, connect with others who understand military culture, and build healthier ways to manage the pressures that can follow service. The group offers support without judgment and does not require you to be in crisis or have the right words before attending.
Topics may include stress, trauma, family relationships, loneliness, transition, resilience, purpose, emotional well-being, and navigating life after service. Participants can share experiences at their own comfort level, learn practical coping tools, and develop stronger connections with others in the veteran community.
