Therapy for Veterans
We provide trauma-informed, personalized care for veterans navigating PTSD, transition stress, moral injury, and family reintegration. Our focus is on real connection and evidence-based healing.
Mental Health Evaluations
We offer comprehensive private-pay mental health evaluations. These include diagnostic assessments, clinical interviews, and objective screening tools to help clarify your treatment needs or support your personal health documentation.
Veterans Support Group
Schedule: Bi-weekly Saturdays at 10:00 AM
Fee: $30 per session
A connection-focused group for veterans to share experiences, build camaraderie, and find support in a safe environment led by clinicians who understand veteran life.
Summary & Opinion Letters
We provide clinical summary letters and opinion letters upon request. Please note: these letters are only provided when clinically supported by our findings. We maintain high integrity to ensure all documentation is a true reflection of clinical status.

Initial 15-minute consult: Complementary
Veteran mental health assessment: $350
Formal clinical summary: $250
Document review (first 50 pages): $150
Extended file review (each extra 50 pages): $75
Nexus-style clinical opinion letter: $500
Priority rush processing (subject to availability): $200
Standard pricing covers a single primary clinical finding. For highly complex medical histories, substantial record volumes, multiple opinions, or off-site requirements, a customized service quote will be provided in writing.

Meet the Founder
Heather D. Vest, M.S., LPC, NCC, is an Air Force veteran, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and the visionary founder of The Unscripted Therapy & Wellness Center.
Her seasoned expertise spans trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and child advocacy, alongside extensive work with family systems and community initiatives. Heather has dedicated her career to serving those on the front lines, including veterans, first responders, and educators, across various clinical and educational settings.
Combining her lived experience as a veteran with advanced clinical training, Heather offers a rare perspective that respects military culture while promoting genuine emotional healing.
